Thai Airways has joined a number of other airlines around the world in announcing cuts to its international services.
Thai Airways has announced a temporary suspension of flights across the Asia Pacific and Europe this week in response to the spread of COVID-19.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the company said the ongoing global outbreak of COVID-19 meant that several countries in Europe and Asia had "intensely increased" preventive measures, including screening by local Ministries of Public Health and Civil Aviation Organizations as well as national lockdown, prompting a temporary suspension of certain international services.
All Asian routes were deferred from March 25 until May 31, to be followed by flights to Australia (March 27- May 31) and Europe (April 1- May 31).
